Trace Paradise Street Directory

A Paradise street directory search works best when it begins with the address itself. A county parcel record can connect that address to an owner name, a legal description, and a recorded document number. From there, map layers, deed records, permit files, and historical reverse directories each answer a narrower question. Search Paradise streets by address with care: a property owner is not automatically an occupant, a tax mailing address may be elsewhere, and a Las Vegas postal label can still sit inside the legal Town of Paradise.

Trace Paradise Street Records

Clark County keeps the most useful current street records because Paradise is an unincorporated county town. Start with one complete address, then keep the parcel number and legal description beside the street name. That method separates an address match from a reliable parcel match. The sequence below moves from a current parcel to past recorded ownership, then to limited civic and historical sources. It does not turn one record into proof of every person at an address.

  1. Search the Clark County Assessor by street name, then add direction, type, legal City/Town, or a number when needed. Without a number, browse a segment; with one, the county reports a three-block result window.
  2. Open each relevant APN, or assessor parcel number, and save the owner, site address, tax mailing address, subdivision, plat book and page, and recorded document number.
  3. Use the APN or legal description in the Recorder index. Read the current deed, then search the current grantor as a prior grantee to carry the deed chain backward.
  4. For voter information, use official Clark County services, data files, or a properly scoped request. The public lookup is not a street-by-street browsing tool.
  5. For a past address-to-name connection, consult documented criss-cross volumes after the parcel and address have been normalized.

That chain is strongest for property history and weakest for unrecorded household membership. A name found in an old directory or voter record needs its own date and address check.

Paradise Street Address Searches

The Clark County Assessor address search accepts a required street name and optional number, direction, street type, legal City/Town, phonetic matching, and record preference. City/Town is a legal-boundary field, not a postal-mailing field. The search can therefore place an address in Town PARADISE even when mail uses Las Vegas. Choose present or prior-owner preference only as a search aid, then inspect the individual parcel card.

The field set makes a controlled street browse possible without implying that the results form a household roll. Omit the number for a broader segment. Add it once the target block is clear. Save an APN before opening other systems because the parcel identifier is more durable than a street label.

Paradise Street Parcel Details

A parcel card can display the owner, mailing address, site or situs address, legal Town, legal description, subdivision, plat book and page, lot or unit, recorded document and date, tax district, appraisal year, and values. The County's inspected sample shows why those distinctions matter: the situs is 3055 Key Largo Dr 101 in Town PARADISE, while the tax mailing address is 1861 Napoleon Dr with a Las Vegas postal label. The two addresses answer different questions.

Parcel or APN
The Assessor's identifier for a tract or unit. Preserve the full hyphenated number when moving between county systems.
Situs address
The physical site address of the parcel, not necessarily where the owner receives tax correspondence.
Plat
A recorded subdivision or parcel map. Its book and page can connect a street location to a lot, block, unit, or legal description.
Criss-cross directory
An address-first directory that can pair a street number with a listed historical occupant or telephone entry.

A different mailing address may identify a trust, manager, lender, or owner who lives elsewhere. It is a lead for the property record, not a conclusion about who currently occupies a unit.

OpenWeb for Paradise Streets

Clark County OpenWeb is the visual check between an address result and a recorded document. Parcel selection and layers expose site address, owner link, jurisdiction, sale date and price, planned land use, zoning, legal subdivision, book and page, lot or block, tax district, census tract, flood context, and elected districts. Its tools also support parcel selection, measurement, an APN tree, aerial-date viewing, export, and print functions.

Pan along the selected segment, open parcels one at a time, and record their APNs. A map buffer or measurement only describes nearby geometry. It does not identify a complete set of people on a block. OpenWeb is a reference display without warranty, so confirm ownership through the Assessor and Recorder records.

The official OpenWeb parcel viewer provides the map controls used for a Paradise street directory review.

Parcel selection keeps the street search tied to a specific legal record rather than a visual estimate.

Paradise Street Deed Chains

The Clark County Recorder AcclaimWeb search offers Name, Parcel Number, Instrument Number, Document Type, Book/Page, Record Date, Total Value, and Legal Description modes. For a street trail, start from the parcel card's recorded-document number or legal description, identify the deed's grantee and grantor, then look for the grantor's earlier acquisition. Repeat only when the parcel, legal description, and dates stay consistent.

Online Official Records begin in 1988. The Recorder reports microfilm from 1909 to the present, so an older street history needs office research rather than an assumption that the web index is complete. Copies may be ordered online after account creation, at the counter, or by mail. The official request form accepts book or instrument numbers and has a pre-1988 page-count route by email before ordering. County direct copy fees are $1 per page plus $4 for certification, and the county warns that it does not solicit copy orders.

Search both party names and the APN. Trusts, estates, and entities can appear in the chain, and the Recorder cautions that not every name or APN is indexed on every instrument. The Recorder notification service can monitor a subscribed name or parcel, but it is not a complete guarantee.

Paradise Street Permit Records

Address history can also include work on the parcel. The Clark County Accela Citizen Access portal supports permit, address, parcel, and owner searches, with a five-year default date window. Its results can supply permit status, dates, work description, and public attachments where available. A building record can name an applicant, owner, or contractor, but result visibility and attachments vary.

The Accela Citizen Access screen shows the address and parcel routes available for a Paradise street directory search.

Use its date filter deliberately, since the default period may leave older permits outside the results.

The separate Building and Fire document search accepts application department, record number, parcel number, location, and document type. Some plans remain office-only or have access limits. Code-enforcement materials are subject to Nevada public-record rules and exemptions, so a searchable complaint field does not guarantee unrestricted document access.

The official Building and Fire document search displays the location and parcel controls relevant to a Paradise street directory check.

Permit evidence dates a project or record event, not every person who may have been at the address.

Paradise Street Records Matrix

Each source has a different address key and a different limit. An APN and legal description bridge parcel, deed, plat, permit, and map sources, while a complete postal address is best reserved for address normalization. A Paradise street directory result should say which source supplied each fact.

For county material not exposed in a portal, a defined request can be routed through the County records-request process under the Nevada Public Records Act. Identify the parcel, date range, record type, and likely custodian instead of asking for an undefined street list.

Paradise Street Voter Limits

Clark County's registered-voter lookup is designed for individual registration-status and account services, not a public browse-all address screen. The County voter-list data files are updated weekly and organized by county, district, and precinct rather than a public ZIP or street directory. They distinguish active and inactive status, with inactive describing an address-maintenance condition rather than a vote-history conclusion.

Clark County Elections also provides data-request, in-person, phone, and historical-record routes. A written request for non-exempt historical administration files should identify the file, date, district, and permitted use; old poll-book leads may require library or archive research. Nevada law protects registration location, identifying numbers, and protected-address information. Never try to reconstruct a confidential address.

Note: Voter records can support a date-specific civic record check, but they do not supply a complete or unrestricted list of households along a Paradise street.

Paradise Street Criss-Cross Years

For older address-to-occupant research, Luskey's Las Vegas Criss-Cross directories are documented for 1956, 1957, 1959, 1966, and 1967 at Nevada State Museum Las Vegas. Those volumes use the address-first format needed to test a historical street number. UNLV Regional History Files also identify Paradise Valley material from 1950 through 1965 and a 1969 Las Vegas City Directory. The postal label may say Las Vegas even where the legal location is Paradise, so use both place terms in a catalog.

The R.L. Polk Arrow map, dated about 1957 to 1961, includes a street index and insets. It can help translate an older reference into a present parcel query. Check the directory abbreviation key, street suffix variants, and alphabetical section after the address section. A listed name is evidence for that edition's entry, not proof of an entire household.

Historical shelves, date runs, and reading-room access are collected in the Paradise Directory Book. That work complements, rather than replaces, the current address chain.

Paradise Street Postal Mismatch

Paradise is legally an unincorporated Clark County town/CDP, while Las Vegas is common in postal addresses. The Assessor's City/Town field identifies legal boundary data; it is not a mailing-city field. A postal city and ZIP describe delivery geography, not municipal authority. This distinction is useful when a street search appears to cross a town line or returns a Las Vegas label for a parcel in Paradise.

The SNGIS Boundaries service provides Place, ZIP Code, Assessor Index, Book/Section, and Tract layers for checking geographic context.

Use the layer result with the parcel record, then make USPS the final postal-address check.

Paradise Street History Bridge

Clark County records provide a practical bridge back to 1909: Recorder microfilm begins then, although the online Official Records index starts in 1988. No official source located a Paradise-wide street renumbering, renaming year, or readdressing project. Treat an old address that fails to match as an evidence problem, not as proof that the records were destroyed or the street never existed.

Build the bridge with the old map or directory entry, its street suffix, the plat book and page, legal description, APN, and current USPS normalization. UNLV maps from 1952 onward and the Polk street index help with the historical side. The Recorder's subdivision and parcel-map records, Assessor book/page search, and OpenWeb parcel selection help with the legal side.

Note: Preserve the source date beside every historical street match because postal labels, platting, and parcel display fields can change over time.

Paradise Street Directory Limits

A property roll is not a household roll. It may identify a current owner and tax mailing address, but non-owner occupants and household members may not appear. Nevada DMV name-and-address data is restricted, and the research did not locate a public utility-customer list. A mailing address can belong to an owner, trust, lender, or manager outside Paradise. Keep source labels clear when sharing a street-history finding with family, an heir researcher, or a neighbor.

Lawful use. Paradise street and parcel records are for lawful personal research and civic transparency. Nevada prohibits stalking and harassment; do not use an address record to intimidate, track, or harm anyone.

When a question becomes about a single person rather than an address chain, the Paradise Resident Lookup has the appropriate name-first records path.
